OUR PARTNERS

We are pleased to acknowledge our earliest partner in the N2K Nursing Education Program - the Oregon Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development. They saw the potential in our vision of a new approach to nursing education. Without their early financial commitment to develop and pilot test the model, the N2K Program would not exist.

The Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems provided valuable leadership and support. Their efforts to help us introduce the N2K Program to Oregon’s healthcare provider community, and their continuing support have been key to the success of N2K.

The Oregon Office of Rural Health has been critical to bringing the N2K Program to Oregon’s rural hospitals. Early development funding helped in this design. Their funding of a Medicaid/Medicare study has also developed a key tool that helps Oregon’s rural hospitals recover major portions of the cost of the program.

The Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education is recognized as a national leader in nursing education. Their partnership with the Oregon Health Career Center to join the OCNE curriculum with the N2K model continues their historic, trail-blazing innovation.

Oregon’s community college nursing programs have been working wonders – expanding their programs in the face of limited resources and faculty shortages. We are particularly honored that the following colleges also chose to join us as educational partners in the N2K Nursing Education Program:

And a final thank you to the healthcare organizations that have sponsored their employees in various of the N2K cohorts. Many of them have participated in more than one cohort. It has been an honor to work with you, and with the wonderful, dedicated, hard-working employee/students you have brought to our programs.
