CURRENT COHORTS
Our most recent N2K Nursing Education cohorts:
Our MHCC Cohort #1 was our most ambitious application of the N2K model to date. Our primary partner in this effort was the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education. Our educational provider partnership was with Mount Hood Community College.
This program was specifically designed to bring the benefits of the N2K model to Oregon’s small, rural hospitals. Didactic education was provided via an array of sophisticated on-line educational tools. Student labs were provided at Central Oregon Community College. Student clinical training was provided in their home communities and hospitals, as well as at larger regional hospitals when appropriate. Participating employers included:
Twelve students in this cohort graduated from the nursing program in March 2010.
Our N2K PCC #2 Cohort is in partnership with Portland Community College. Eighteen students began classes in July, 2009. Participating employers include:
