Limited funding is available for student scholarships and assistance with transportation. Due to limited scholarship funding, we cannot guarantee that the total scholarship amount requested will be granted. P lease submit your scholarship requests early as requests are granted in the order in which they are received. Scholarship requests will NOT be considered after October 23rd, 2008.

Student Scholarships:
Students who qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program are eligible for a Health Career Day Scholarship.

For student scholarships, please fill out the Student Scholarship Form. Please note: we ask students to pay as much as they are able toward the $17.00 registration fee so we can scholarship as many students as possible.

Transportation Assistance:
Some transportation support for schools is also available. OHCC understands that budgets are stretched for field trips. We would love to be able to assist everyone, however our assistance fund is limited. This year, we ask that you help us stretch our assistance fund:

• please work with your school to "match" assistance money (i.e. if the bus estimate is $300, please consider asking OHCC for $150 and your district for $150;
• please work with schools in your district to fill buses, rather than each school applying for their own bus;
• please consider holding a fundraiser with your students to cover some of the costs associated with transportation and registration fees.
