HEALTH CAREER DAY PRESENTERS

Share your health profession with Oregon and Southwest Washington

!

Each year since 1996, nearly 2,000 high school students attend Health Career Day to explore health careers through interactive presentations from practicing health professionals, visits with college representatives and by talking to healthcare employers from throughout the Northwest.

Help students explore the variety of health career options available by sharing your profession during one or several sessions at Health Career Day. Students self-register for four of several break-out sessions, which run simultaneously during the following 50 minute time-blocks: 9:20- 10:10 am, 10:25-11:15 am, 12:00-12:50 pm, and 1:05-1:55 pm.

Some students who attend Health Career Day have already identified the health career they will enter; others have not yet made a choice. We invite our presenters to speak to students about their profession to provide them with information, insight and ideas that will help guide them in their career choices.

A typical presentation includes:

Presenters will speak to between 15 and 200 students. We can share the number of students registered for your session a few days before the event.
