Licensed Practical Nurse
Must have 3-5 years of primary care experience in a clinical setting or FQHC, with infectious disease/HIV experience a plus. Able to multi-task and to interact effectively with medical director and staff; compassion and a drive for quality care required. Full-time position. Health IT Specialist
Specialist provides on-going training and support to clinical/nonclinical staff in the usage of the EHR and other health IT related software. IT Specialist will participate in an analysis of clinical and organizational needs and participate in the development of organization policies and initiatives related to EHR optimization and data analytics. Assist with the implementation of QI initiatives and help maintain compliance with all health IT standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Investigate and manage the resolution of reported issues within the system, including determining and implementing solutions to the issues.
- Develop custom reports as needed for staff and grant purposes.
- Associates degree in IT or healthcare informatics preferred
Knowledge and understanding of clinical workflows, knowledge of HTML, PCMH, meaningful use or value based care standards a plus.
